Terms of use

Swaptic is a peer-to-peer time exchange. Members list skills, book hours, and settle in time credits. One hour of any skill equals one credit. Credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, or converted to money.

You must be 16 or older. You are not an employee, contractor, or agent of Swaptic. Sessions are private arrangements between members. Swaptic does not guarantee quality, attendance, or outcome.

Booking holds the requester’s credits. They return if the swap is cancelled before both people mark it complete. When both confirm, the teacher receives those credits. Opening a dispute pauses the ledger until an admin decides.

Meet in a public place or online. Do not share payment details to circumvent credits. Do not harass, spam, or list illegal or unsafe activities. We may hide listings or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Listings are posted by members, not by Swaptic. We do not employ teachers. If no one has listed a skill yet, that listing is not available until a member adds it.
